Uzbekistan and the United States discussed the development of a strategic partnership

The heads of the foreign affairs agencies discussed the further development of Uzbek-American cooperation, the C5+1 format, and preparations for upcoming bilateral events.

Uzbekistan and the United States held talks on expanding their strategic partnership.

Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov reported that he met with Samir Paul Kapoor, Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs. During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for further development of bilateral cooperation.

The two sides noted that in recent years, the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the United States has reached a qualitatively new level. The Uzbek Foreign Minister emphasized that close dialogue between the leaders of the two countries provides additional impetus to the development of bilateral relations.

During the talks, the parties discussed in detail issues of deepening cooperation and preparations for upcoming events at various levels.

Furthermore, the meeting participants exchanged views on interaction within the C5+1 format and discussed current issues on the regional and international agendas.
