Uzbekistan and Qatar discussed the expansion of cooperation
On September 7, 2026, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhromjon Aloev, held a meeting with the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar and Chairman of the Alliance of Civilizations Committee, Ahmad bin Hassan Al-Hammadi. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
During the talks, the parties reviewed issues of further strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation between the two countries.
Particular attention was paid to the development of interaction in the political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
The parties also discussed practical steps to intensify bilateral contacts. In particular, an agreement was reached to jointly take the necessary measures to hold various joint events and organize mutual visits.
In addition, Uzbekistan and Qatar agreed on the joint organization of international conferences.
The talks took place within the framework of the further development of bilateral interaction and the expansion of practical cooperation between the relevant structures of the two countries.
