Uzbekistan and Malaysia expand cooperation in agriculture
At the Ministry of Agriculture, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Kahramon Yuldashev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia to the Republic of Uzbekistan Rafidah Abd Aziz, Director General of the Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC) Belvender Sron, and representatives of the Malaysian delegation.

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Deputy Minister of Agriculture Qahramon Yuldashev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia to Uzbekistan Rafidah Abd Aziz, Director General of the Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC) Belvender Sron, and representatives of the Malaysian delegation.
The meeting discussed issues of ensuring agriculture, food security, development of the oilseed industry, introduction of modern technologies, expansion of scientific cooperation, and implementation of investment projects between Uzbekistan and Malaysia.
The parties emphasized the importance of further strengthening mutually beneficial relations in the field of studying best practices, developing the processing industry, expanding the value chain, and promising areas of cooperation.
This meeting was organized as part of the international forum "Food Safety & Innovation: Palm Oil Solutions for Central Asia" taking place in Tashkent.
