Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan to expand cooperation in pharmaceuticals

Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan have agreed to develop pharmaceutical production, investment cooperation, research, and joint projects.

Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan intend to increase cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector. The Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry of Uzbekistan and the state enterprise of Kyrgyzstan "Kyrgyzpharmacia" signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

According to the document, the parties will develop the production of pharmaceutical and cosmetic products, as well as strengthen investment and trade ties between the two countries.

In addition, within the framework of the reached agreements, an exchange of experience in the field of scientific research and innovative developments, holding seminars and educational programs for specialists, as well as the preparation of joint projects are envisaged.

The memorandum was signed by the Director of the Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry Abdulla Azizov and the Director of the state enterprise "Kyrgyzpharmacia" Akylbek Turatbek uulu.

These agreements are aimed at further developing cooperation between the two countries in the pharmaceutical sector and implementing joint initiatives.
