Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan discussed cooperation in pharmaceuticals
Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan reviewed opportunities for expanding cooperation in the pharmaceutical industry, including the supply of Uzbek products to the Kyrgyz market.
The negotiations took place between Abdulla Azizov, Director of the Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry of Uzbekistan, and a delegation led by Akylbek Turatbek uulu, Director of the State Enterprise "Kyrgyzpharmacia" under the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan.
During the meeting, representatives of the two countries outlined the key areas of activity of their organizations and exchanged views on the prospects for further cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector.
The parties paid special attention to expanding cooperation with pharmaceutical manufacturers of Uzbekistan.
Prospects for increasing supplies of domestic pharmaceutical products to the Kyrgyz market were also discussed.
The meeting participants also considered the further development of working contacts between representatives of the pharmaceutical industries of the two countries.
Following the negotiations, the parties declared their readiness to continue mutually beneficial cooperation, strengthen working dialogue, and develop practical ties.
The meeting served as a platform for discussing specific areas of cooperation between the sectoral organizations of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, primarily in terms of expanding the presence of Uzbek pharmaceutical products on the Kyrgyz market.
