Ukraine’s Borshchahivskiy Plant Looks at Projects in Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan and Ukraine’s Borshchahivskiy Chemical and Pharmaceutical Plant discussed the prospects for broadening cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector.

The meeting was attended by Abdulla Azizov, Director of the Agency for Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry under the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan.

The sides considered possibilities for localizing pharmaceutical production in Uzbekistan, introducing modern technologies, and launching new investment projects.

Azizov stressed Uzbekistan’s openness to foreign investors and its readiness to support new initiatives in the pharmaceutical industry.

According to Azizov, building mutually beneficial cooperation remains a priority area in relations with foreign companies.

After the meeting, the two sides agreed to keep working on establishing production facilities, exchanging technologies, and implementing prospective investment projects.

Future cooperation is expected to center on strengthening ties between the pharmaceutical companies of both countries and developing new manufacturing initiatives in Uzbekistan.
