Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan expand cooperation in the field of social protection

Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are stepping up cooperation in the field of social protection
A meeting was held at the National Agency for Social Protection between the Director of the Agency, Mansurbek Olloyarov, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan, Yeraly Tugzhanov.
The parties reviewed issues concerning the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of social protection, the exchange of experience, and the expansion of practical collaboration.
During the negotiations, the Kazakh side was presented with information on the development of a family-oriented social protection system in Uzbekistan, supporting individuals without separating them from their families and society, as well as the key role of the mahalla in this process.
In addition, the meeting participants discussed the exchange of experience in supporting persons with disabilities and vulnerable categories of the population, as well as the organization of expert meetings and mutual visits. Following the negotiations, an agreement was reached to further strengthen and systematize cooperation between the two countries in the social sphere.
