Uzbekistan and Japan discussed ways to expand cooperation in healthcare, including training medical specialists and their education at leading Japanese institutions.
These topics were discussed between Uzbek Ambassador Mukhsinhuja Abdurakhmanov and Japanese Deputy Minister of Health, Labor, and Welfare Niki Hiromasa.
During the meeting, the parties also discussed cooperation in the pharmaceutical industry and the economy, as well as Japan's possible participation in international events planned for Uzbekistan.
