Uzbekistan and IDB discussed new investment projects
On September 9, the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan, Laziz Kudratov, held a meeting with the newly appointed head of the regional office of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) in Almaty, Hammad Zafar Hundal.
During the conversation, the Minister congratulated Hammad Zafar Hundal on his appointment and wished him success in his future work.
The parties reviewed the prospects for further development of multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Islamic Development Bank.
Particular attention was paid to the implementation of priority projects in the fields of water and agriculture, transport infrastructure, energy, education, and healthcare.
Following the negotiations, the parties confirmed their readiness to continue cooperation aimed at expanding the partnership, promoting new investment initiatives, and implementing joint projects.
