Uzbekistan and Germany discussed cooperation in the field of raw materials
On September 9, the Minister of Mining and Geology of Uzbekistan, B. Islamov, held a meeting with a German delegation led by Klaus Mangold, Chairman of Mangold Consulting GmbH. Responsible officials of the ministry also participated in the talks.
During the meeting, representatives of the Uzbek Technological Metals Combinat delivered a presentation on the enterprise's activities, its current production capabilities, as well as work on the development and processing of strategic mineral resources.
Following this, representatives of Mercedes-Benz AG presented a report titled "Uzbek-German Raw Materials Dialogue." The meeting participants discussed prospects for industrial cooperation, Uzbekistan's mineral and raw material potential, and opportunities for implementing joint projects.
Special attention was paid to expanding technological and investment cooperation between the parties.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on the further development of cooperation in the field of mining and strategic raw materials. The parties also decided to jointly study promising areas and continue the dialogue.
