Uzbekistan and Georgia to expand tourism cooperation

An Uzbek-Georgian business forum will be held in Samarkand on August 17, with the participation of tourism companies from both countries.

Uzbekistan and Georgia are preparing to deepen their partnership in the tourism sector.

On August 17, the First Uzbek-Georgian Business Forum will be held in Samarkand, focusing on developing cooperation in tourism. More than ten leading Georgian tourism companies will participate in the forum, holding talks with representatives of the Uzbek tourism sector, according to the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Prior to the forum, bilateral B2B meetings between representatives of the tourism industries of both countries will be held on August 15 in Tashkent, at the Tourism Committee building.

During these meetings, participants will exchange experiences and discuss prospects for creating new tourist routes, increasing tourist flow, and strengthening business ties between Uzbek and Georgian companies.

The business forum is expected to stimulate the further development of tourism cooperation between the two countries and open opportunities for new projects in the tourism sector.
