Uzbekistan and CSCEC International discussed transport infrastructure development projects

The Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan discussed prospects for implementing joint projects in the field of transport infrastructure with China's CSCEC International.

The meeting took place on October 30 with the participation of First Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance Ilkhom Norkulov and a delegation led by Sun Jingdong, Deputy General Manager of the company.

The parties considered opportunities for expanding economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and China. Particular attention was paid to the modernization of road and transport infrastructure and the implementation of related joint initiatives.

During the negotiations, promising projects in the transport sector and issues of further developing cooperation between the relevant structures of the two countries were also discussed.

Following the meeting, the participants emphasized the importance of continuing dialogue and strengthening cooperation in order to develop and implement promising projects.
