The presentation provided information on the reform strategy of New Uzbekistan defined by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, as well as the concrete results of economic reforms implemented over the last ten years.
The event participants highly praised the steady development of the country due to the high growth rates of Uzbekistan's economy, the record level of foreign investment inflows, the stabilization of key macroeconomic indicators, as well as the rapid development of the industrial and service sectors and the increasing share of small and medium-sized businesses.
Special attention was also paid to the formation of a modern financial services sector in Uzbekistan, particularly the developing insurance sector through the introduction of advanced information technologies and artificial intelligence.
During the international meeting, the management of "Uzbekinvest" held a series of negotiations with the leaders of leading insurance companies from Europe, North America, Southeast and South Asia, as well as the Middle East. Following their conclusion, new agreements aimed at developing and expanding cooperation in the areas of insuring direct and portfolio investments to Uzbekistan, stimulating foreign trade operations, and increasing the country's export potential were reached and relevant documents were signed.
