Uzbek students win 4 medals at the International Olympiad in Informatics

Uzbek students won 4 medals at the International Olympiad in Informatics.

The Uzbek national team achieved the highest result in its history at the 38th International Olympiad in Informatics held in Tashkent.

According to the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, in this competition, in which students from more than 90 countries participated, Uzbek youth won 1 silver, 3 bronze medals and 1 "Honorable Mention" (honorable mention).

Jaxonali Khaydaraliyev won the silver medal, while Jahongirshoh Avazkhanov, Timur Kadirbergenov and Ulugbek Rahmatullayev were awarded bronze medals. Sardorbek Salimov was awarded an "Honorable Mention".

This result was the highest indicator of the Uzbek national team in the Olympiad in Informatics. It was noted that the results of the competition once again demonstrated the international algorithmic and programming potential of young people.

We would like to remind you that on July 11, the 58th International Chemistry Olympiad among schoolchildren also began in Tashkent. Uzbek students won 4 medals in this competition as well.
