As part of expanding the geography of Uzbekistan's agricultural exports, new varieties of local grapes and melons have been introduced to the UK market.

With the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in London, the British company Capital Foodservice has started importing Uzbek fruit and vegetable products.
In particular, "Kelin barmoq" (Lady's finger) grapes, as well as "Torpedo", "Kokcha", and "Obi novvot" varieties of melons grown in Uzbekistan are being sent to the UK.
Air transport is being used to quickly deliver the exported products to Britain. The agricultural products are being transported to their destination via regular flights of Uzbekistan Airways.
The process of delivering fruit and vegetable products to the UK is planned to continue regularly until the end of the season.
It is noted that this cooperation is aimed at expanding the presence of Uzbekistan's agricultural products in the British market, increasing demand for local fruits and vegetables, and strengthening the reputation of Uzbek products abroad.
Thus, the range of Uzbek agricultural products exported to the UK is expanding with "Kelin barmoq" grapes and several local varieties of melons.
