An Uzbek citizen who found himself in a difficult situation in Yekaterinburg was returned to his homeland.

The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Yekaterinburg continues its activities to assist compatriots in difficult situations and protect their legal interests.

The Consulate General received a report about a citizen named O.V., a native of Navoi region. According to him, he had been homeless for several days and was forced to spend the night on the street due to the lack of necessary living conditions.

Diplomats quickly studied this appeal and interviewed the citizen at the consulate. After his identity and the situation were determined, the consular officers contacted the citizen's relatives.

After that, measures were taken to safely return him to his permanent place of residence. With the support of the Consulate General, a plane ticket was purchased on the Yekaterinburg-Tashkent route, and the compatriot's safe return to Uzbekistan was ensured.
