Uzbek brothers, wanted for 3 years, arrested in Kyrgyzstan

Uzbek brothers wanted in Kyrgyzstan for three years have been detained.
Two Uzbek citizens suspected of fraud were detained in the Kadamjoy district of the Batken region of Kyrgyzstan. They have been wanted since 2023. This was reported by “24.kg” with reference to the press service of the regional Department of Internal Affairs.
According to police, in 2021, residents of the village of Ak Turpok filed a complaint against the brothers. The suspects promised to make plastic windows and took money, but did not fulfill their promises.
During the investigation, it was determined that the total material damage caused to the victims amounted to 122 thousand soms ($ 1,300). A criminal case was initiated under the article “Fraud”. The suspects were officially put on the wanted list in 2023.
Officers of the Kadamjoy district police department have located them. It turned out that the wanted persons are brothers born in 1989 and 1991, living in the Fergana region of Uzbekistan. Both individuals were detained in the Kadamjoy district and brought to the police station. The investigation is currently ongoing.
