Uzbekistan Extradites Three Wanted Suspects From Türkiye
Three Uzbek citizens wanted through Interpol were extradited from Türkiye and handed over to law enforcement authorities after arriving in Uzbekistan.
Uzbekistan has successfully secured the extradition of three wanted suspects from Türkiye, according to an announcement by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The three Uzbek citizens, who were subject to Interpol's international wanted list, were located during investigative operations while they were in hiding in Istanbul. Following the completion of all necessary legal processes, their transfer to Uzbekistan was carried out.
Among those extradited is a 28-year-old man from the Samarkand Region, who was placed on the international wanted list for allegedly committing a serious crime against sexual integrity. Also returned was a 34-year-old man from the Bukhara Region, sought on fraud charges, and a 50-year-old man from Tashkent, accused of large-scale fraud.
The ministry stated that upon their arrival in Uzbekistan, the extradited individuals were handed over to the relevant law enforcement authorities in accordance with established procedures.
