Ukrainian ambassador summoned to Turkish Foreign Ministry

Earlier, Turkish ships were attacked in the Black Sea.

Ukraine's Ambassador to Ankara, Nariman Jalal, was summoned to the Turkish Foreign Ministry. The reason for the summons was the attack on a Turkish ship and another ship that came to its aid in the Black Sea.

According to reports, on August 26-27, the ships "Lider Bordo Mavi" and "Lider Kocatepe" were attacked near the coast of Tuapse.

According to the ministry representative, Turkey's position on these attacks was outlined at the meeting. Warnings were also given about the need to ensure the safety of people, property, ship movement and the environment in the Black Sea.

On the night of August 26, drones attacked the Turkish cargo ship "Lider Bordo Mavi" off the coast of Tuapse. According to the Haber Trabzon newspaper, a fire broke out on board the ship and five crew members were injured.
