UFC tournament could be held in Kyrgyzstan — Media

There is a possibility that the UFC will hold one of its tournaments in Kyrgyzstan. MMA fighter Valentina Shevchenko informed journalists about this.

"I really want a UFC tournament to be held in Kyrgyzstan and I will do everything in my power for this. The organization also supported my idea and expressed interest in it. I hope the parties will reach an agreement and we will hold a UFC tournament in Kyrgyzstan," Shevchenko said.

Currently, four fighters represent Kyrgyzstan in the UFC. They are Valentina Shevchenko, Myktybek Orolbai uulu, Uran Satybaldiev, and Murtazali Magomedov.

For information, the UFC has held a total of 788 tournaments in 170 cities across 33 countries of the world to date.

In Asia, UFC tournaments have been held in the United Arab Emirates, China, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, the Philippines, and Qatar. In general, UFC tournaments are mainly organized in the USA, Canada, Brazil, and certain countries in Europe, Asia, and Oceania. However, the organization has not yet organized a tournament in Central Asia.
