Twelve projects worth $176 million have been launched in the Khorezm region.

In the Khorezm region, 12 new projects worth a total of $176 million have been commissioned. Construction has begun on another 15 facilities worth $7.424 billion. In the Khorezm region, 12 projects worth a total of $176 million have been completed. In addition, construction has begun on 15 facilities with a combined value of $7.424 billion.

Among the launched projects, the production of environmentally friendly aviation fuel in the Tuprok-Kala district stands out. This project, estimated to cost $6 billion, is being implemented with the participation of partners from the UAE and the Chinese company Sinopec.

The region also plans to build the Sakhro Yulduzi tourist complex near Khiva, costing $120 million, a 71 MW waste recycling and green energy production facility worth $100 million, and other facilities in various sectors, including industry, energy, tourism, and construction.

These new projects will create approximately 6,600 jobs.

Over the past nine years, the Khorezm region has attracted $7.5 billion in investment, enabling the commissioning of 9,700 new production facilities.

Particular attention is being paid to the development of transport infrastructure. An electrified railway line connecting Urgench International Airport with Khiva has been commissioned in the region. Operation of the Urgench-Khiva toll road, the first toll road in Uzbekistan, is also underway. This is expected to reduce travel time from 45 to 20 minutes.
