Trump said he warned Macron about France disappearing
According to the US president, France is threatened by uncontrolled migration. Mass protests are taking place in France, with some of the protesters resorting to destroying shops and clashing with the police.

Trump said he warned Macron that France would cease to exist
US President Donald Trump said he warned French leader Emmanuel Macron that France would "cease to exist" due to its immigration policy.
"I told Macron when I first came into the presidency — I met with him early on — I said to him, 'You're destroying France. You're allowing people in who hate your country.' This problem is getting worse, and it is escalating right now," the US president said.
Not only France, but also other European countries have faced the migrant problem.
"Look at Spain, a month ago hundreds of thousands of people flooded into Spain. I said, 'Oh, this is going to be a problem,'" he emphasized.
In late July, thousands of illegal migrants entered the Spanish enclave city of Ceuta to cross into European territory by sea.
"The people causing the problem hate Spain, they hate France, they hate Italy, they are not from these countries. They hate the art of these nations, their buildings, everything connected with France, they hate these people. And they were allowed to come," Trump concluded.
Mass protests have been taking place in Europe in recent months. According to the General Confederation of Labor (CGT), 800,000 people took part in nationwide demonstrations in France on October 17 and 24. Apart from France, the wave of protests also swept Italy, Belgium, Spain, and Albania.
Trump regularly criticizes the migration policies of European countries. Last year, he called illegal migration a "horrible invasion" and an event that is "destroying Europe."
"You better get your act together, or you're not going to have a Europe left," Trump said.
