JSC Toshshahartransxizmat has responded to an appeal from passengers who were unable to board bus No. 82 on October 25 at the bus stop near the Mega Planet shopping and entertainment complex in the Yunusabad district of Tashkent.
An investigation revealed that the driver stopped outside the designated area due to a congestion of buses, according to the company's information service.
The incident involved a YUTONG bus operating on route No. 82 "Yunusabad 17th Block — Ibn Sino 1st Block," assigned to Bus Depot No. 18.
The investigation was prompted by an appeal published on October 29 in the "Yunusabadtsey_24" Telegram channel. Based on the results of the check, it was established that due to a large number of buses at the stop, the driver stopped the vehicle slightly further away from the designated spot. As a result, some of the waiting passengers were unable to board.
An explanatory interview was conducted with the driver. He was reminded of the need to comply with service standards, stop in designated areas while adhering to safety requirements, and ensure appropriate conditions for passengers to board and alight.
Toshshahartransxizmat stated that they monitor drivers' compliance with passenger service rules and take measures to prevent similar situations in the future.
