Top 10 countries that delivered the most civil aircraft
In the 2025 ranking of civil aircraft delivered to customers, the USA took first place with 2,485 aircraft. Although Airbus as an individual company delivered more aircraft than Boeing, manufacturers of small and business aviation boosted the overall US performance.

Top 10 countries that delivered the most civil aircraft
The authors of the Reddit infographic included not only large passenger airliners in their calculations, but also general aviation aircraft, business jets, small turboprops, and regional aircraft.
The ranking counted aircraft that were actually delivered to customers in 2025, rather than simply assembled.
Who is ahead between Airbus and Boeing?
According to the provided data, Airbus delivered 793 aircraft, while Boeing delivered 600. Thus, Airbus came out ahead between the two major manufacturers.
However, the result is different when broken down by country. Aircraft from Cirrus, Textron Aviation, Gulfstream, and Piper were added to the US figure along with Boeing:
- Cirrus - 797;
- Textron Aviation - 639;
- Boeing - 600;
- Piper - 291;
- Gulfstream - 158.
With a total of 2,485 aircraft, the US took first place in the ranking by a wide margin.
France is second, Austria is third
France accounted for a total of 960 aircraft. This figure consists of 793 aircraft from Airbus, 76 from Daher, 37 from Dassault, 32 from ATR, and 22 from Elixir.
However, there is an important methodological aspect to the ranking: the authors attributed all Airbus aircraft to France. In reality, the company's aircraft are also manufactured in other countries. For this reason, the list cannot be taken as statistics that fully reflect the exact country in which the aircraft were assembled.
Third place was taken by Austria with 235 aircraft from Diamond Aircraft. The company mainly produces general aviation aircraft and motor gliders.
Brazil and Italy are also in the top five
Brazil ranked fourth with 233 aircraft. Of these, 78 belonged to Embraer's commercial aviation segment, and 155 to the Embraer Executive Jets division, which produces business jets.
