Those who tried to exchange counterfeit 8.4 thousand dollars for real money were detained in Tashkent

In the city of Tashkent, the introduction of counterfeit 8,400 dollars into circulation was prevented. This was reported by the State Security Service.

According to the report, a resident of the Qibray district, born in 1999, conspired with his accomplice, a resident of the Yunusobod district born in 1997, to sell counterfeit 8,400 US dollars brought from Turkey to a conditional buyer for real 3,800 US dollars for profit, and was caught with material evidence during the transaction.

A criminal case has been initiated regarding this situation, and investigative actions are ongoing.

In June, individuals trying to sell counterfeit 100 thousand dollars were detained in Namangan. It was also reported that individuals attempting to sell counterfeit 120 thousand dollars were detained in Tashkent and Navoiy.
