Those who demanded $31,000 for a visa to Uzbekistan were detained

A criminal case has been opened against these individuals and investigations are underway.

Individuals who demanded $31,000 in exchange for entry visas to Uzbekistan were detained.

During an operational operation conducted by officers of the State Security Service and the Department for Combating Economic Crimes, a person born in 1985, a resident of Tashkent, was detained with material evidence while receiving $31,200 in exchange for illegally issuing entry visas to 3 foreign citizens through acquaintances.

It turned out that this person kept $4,200 of the money and was supposed to give the remaining $27,000 to a citizen born in 1960, a resident of the capital. During the operational operation, this citizen was also detained by officers of the State Security Service and the Department for Combating Economic Crimes while receiving $27,000.

A criminal case has been initiated against these individuals and investigative actions are being conducted.
