"These types of crimes have also occurred in history": About a maniac who raped and killed 28 young girls in Tashkent region
Lawyer Komila Abdullayeva said that terrible cases involving pedophiles had occurred in Uzbekistan before as well. One of them was a grave crime associated with the death of 28 young girls, and it took place in the Tashkent region. She noted that she heard about the event from her mentor, who was working as the regional prosecutor at that time.

"This category of crimes has also existed in history": About a maniac who raped and killed 28 young girls in Tashkent region
"Unfortunately, crimes of this category have always existed in history. My late mentor had diabetes. According to my observations, many of those who worked in the law enforcement agencies developed either a heart attack, a stroke, or diabetes. Dying between the ages of 60-65 is also common. When I asked my mentor the reason for contracting this disease, he said, 'I got it because of one maniac.' That maniac claimed the lives of 28 young girls. We were all left in shock.
What our mentor was saying is a real fact; he said he was the prosecutor of Tashkent region at that time. On the first day, he rapes 8 or 9 young girls and kills the victims. They lose track of the maniac. On the second day, the number of victims approaches nearly 20. According to the law, if there is an extremely grave or such an emergency situation, the Prosecutor General is immediately accountable to the president or the senate and must report it immediately. At that time, this news reached President Islam Karimov. He personally called and said, 'I give you one day, find him if you can, otherwise kill yourself.' After that, a large army was deployed so as not to lose that track. On that day, the maniac raped the ninth girl, but was caught at a time when he did not have time to kill her. My mentor collapsed when the news came that he was caught. When he opened his eyes, he was in the hospital. Then they told him, 'Your sugar level has spiked,' and it was difficult for him to recover.
This is one of the most extremely brutal crimes I have ever heard of in my life. I have not heard of a case more severe than this yet. It is indeed a severe case, and now I think to myself with my current perspective, if this thing had been announced in the mass media on the first day, maybe the other girls would have stayed alive," says Abdullayeva.
