The Uzbek Embassy is monitoring the situation in Nepal.

The Uzbek Embassy in New Delhi, which is also responsible for Nepal, stated that there are no reports of Uzbek citizens among the victims or injured in the recent floods in Nepal.

The diplomatic mission is in constant communication with the relevant agencies and continues to monitor developments related to the aftermath of the natural disaster.

According to Reuters, nearly 1,500 people are reported missing in Nepal and Tibet following the floods. Of these, more than 700 are foreign nationals.

In Nepal, 826 people are listed as missing, including approximately 500 foreigners. These include 177 Indian citizens, 63 US citizens, 34 Australian citizens, 33 British citizens, and 25 Canadian citizens. In the Tibetan district of Jirong, 558 people are listed as missing, including 260 foreigners.

Flooding in Nepal has killed 332 people, and three more have died in China. More than 5,000 military and police personnel are involved in search and rescue operations.

The Uzbek diplomatic mission continues to monitor the situation and cooperate with relevant authorities as new information becomes available.
