Toyota has presented the updated Land Cruiser 300 model in Japan. Sales in the local market will start on October 1. Prices will range from 6,300,800 to 10,200,300 yen (477 million - 772 million soums).

The main technical innovation is the hybrid system. The vehicle is equipped with a 3.5-liter gasoline V6 engine combined with an electric motor and a ten-speed "automatic" transmission. Similar units are also used by the premium Lexus LX 700h.

The total output is 457 horsepower and 790 Nm of torque. This is a record figure for the Land Cruiser 300, whose weight has increased by 170 kg. According to the company, the vehicle can ford depths of up to 700 mm.

The gasoline Land Cruiser 300 with the 3.5-liter V6 engine has been discontinued. Thus, the only internal combustion engine now offered for the model is the 3.3-liter diesel with 307 horsepower.

The hybrid will be presented in Japan in two versions — ZX and GR Sport. In addition, a special package from the Modellista tuning studio has been prepared for the vehicle, which decorates the car with sports bumpers, a spoiler, widened fenders, and side steps.
