The soum continues to strengthen against the dollar

The euro, pound sterling, and ruble also fell.

The value of the soum against the dollar continues to increase.

The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan announced new foreign currency exchange rates effective August 12, 2026.

According to it, the US dollar fell by 44.66 soums to 11,889.95 soums. The euro also fell by 70.61 soums to 13,717.44 soums. The pound sterling fell by 69.81 soums to 16,044.30 soums. The Russian ruble fell by 0.71 soums to 143.91 soums.
