The final event of the national ecological competition "Grow Your Garden", organized for the first time among schools in Uzbekistan as part of the "Health Routes" educational program, took place at secondary school No. 3 in the city of Jizzakh.

The competition was organized by Nestlé, the National Committee on Ecology and Climate Change, and the Republican Center for Education. The project brought together more than 400 participants from various regions of the country and aimed to foster an ecological culture among the younger generation.

Entries were posted on the educational program's website, and the winners were determined based on the jury's evaluation and audience voting.

According to the results of the competition, first place was awarded to Class 3 "A" of school No. 3 in Jizzakh, second place to Class 3 "B" of the same school, and third place to Class 3 "A" of school No. 19 in Jizzakh. In addition, laureates and the winner of the "Audience Choice Award" nomination were announced.

The winners were presented with diplomas, memorable gifts, and saplings for greening school grounds.

The main event of the final action was the joint planting of 100 trees on the grounds of school No. 3. Schoolchildren, teachers, parents, and representatives of partner organizations participated in the environmental initiative.

As noted by Lola Rahmanbaeva, Press Secretary and Advisor to the Chairman of the National Committee on Ecology and Climate Change on Information Policy Issues, environmental education is an important part of building a responsible society. According to her, such initiatives give children the opportunity not only to gain knowledge about protecting nature, but also to participate in environmental projects themselves, seeing the real results of their actions.

The "Grow Your Garden" competition became a practical continuation of the "Health Routes" educational program, implemented in Uzbekistan as part of the global Nestlé for Healthier Kids initiative. The program aims to foster healthy habits in children, introduce them to the principles of a balanced diet, and develop a responsible attitude toward the environment.

The initiative also helps strengthen cooperation between government structures, educational institutions, and the private sector on issues of environmental education.

The organizers emphasize that such projects help instill a conscious attitude toward nature in schoolchildren and demonstrate that caring for the environment begins with concrete actions. The tree planting in Jizzakh served as a clear example of how environmental education can translate into practical initiatives uniting children, educators, parents, and the public.
