The Representative Office of the Leningrad Region in showroom format — an effective platform for the development of international cooperation

Since 2025, the Representative Office of the Leningrad Region in showroom format has been operating in Tashkent on the premises of the INNO Technopark — an effective platform for the development of international cooperation and business ties between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Leningrad Region.

This is a space showcasing the potential of one of Russia's leading industrial regions. More than 75 companies demonstrate their products here — ranging from consumer goods and food products to construction materials, industrial equipment, and innovative solutions. Business negotiations take place on the showroom's premises, and delegations are received to familiarize themselves with the products of manufacturers from the Leningrad Region.

The showroom was created by the Economic Development and Investment Activity Committee of the Leningrad Region and the Industrial Development Center of the Leningrad Region.

It is not merely an exhibition display — it is a platform for negotiations, exchange of experience, and signing new contracts. With the support of the showroom, over 20 deals worth about 2 million US dollars have been concluded.

What can the Representative Office offer to Uzbek partners?

First, direct access to verified suppliers. The showroom features products from various industries. This gives Uzbek companies the chance to find profitable avenues for joint work, as many are aimed not only at exporting, but also considering the possibility of localizing the final refining of the product in Uzbekistan.

Second, it is an opportunity to see the product, assess its compliance with local standards and requirements, as well as discuss cooperation terms directly with the manufacturer via videoconferencing, reaching decision-makers.

Third, Leningrad Region companies featured in the showroom have priority access to state export support measures. This means that high advertising and commercial brokerage costs are not included in the price, and expenses for certification and product delivery can be partially co-financed, which can be very beneficial for Uzbek buyers as well.
