Representative of the French Ministry of the Interior in Uzbekistan begins work in Tashkent
Cyril Gout, the representative of the French Ministry of the Interior in Uzbekistan, has started his activities in Tashkent.
In this regard, a meeting was held on September 17 with the leadership of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, Cyril Gout announced that he had been appointed by the French Ministry of the Interior to coordinate cooperation with the law enforcement agencies of Central Asian countries.
It was also emphasized that his operation in the city of Tashkent is of great importance for the further development of cooperation in the field of law enforcement between Uzbekistan and France.
During the dialogue, issues of bringing cooperation between the ministries of internal affairs of France and Uzbekistan to a new level, in particular, improving staff qualifications, exchanging mutual experience, and organizing high-level mutual visits, were discussed.
The parties agreed to work together to further accelerate cooperation and strengthen existing ties.
At the end of the meeting, the leadership of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan wished Cyril Gout success in his responsible activities.
Earlier, by order of the president, Lieutenant Colonel Dilnoza Rajabova was awarded the rank of colonel.
