The "Real Sanjik" case: appeal verdict announced

The appeal decision on the "Real Sanjik" case has been announced

On October 8, the Tashkent City Criminal Court pronounced the verdict in the case of entrepreneur Sanjar Karimov, known as "Real Sanjik."

According to the court's decision, the sentence of 5 years of imprisonment, imposed under Article 168, Part 3, Paragraph "a" of the Criminal Code, was left unchanged.

In accordance with Articles 59–61 of the Criminal Code, by fully combining the various imposed sentences, a final sentence of 5 years of imprisonment and a fine of 400 times the base calculating amount, which equals 136 million soums, was established.

Additionally, based on Article 61 of the Criminal Code, it was noted that the imposed sentences will be executed separately. The remaining part of the verdict was left unchanged, while the appeals were partially satisfied.

As a reminder, on May 8, the Mirzo Ulugbek District Criminal Court found Sanjar Karimov guilty of fraud, threatening to kill or use violence, and drug-related crimes, sentencing him to 5 years of imprisonment and a fine of 410 times the BCA.
