In Tashkent, the possibility of opening the first hotel of the international hotel chain Barceló Hotel Group in Central Asia was discussed. A meeting on this project was held with the participation of representatives of the capital's khokimiyat, JSC "Toshkent Invest Kompaniyasi", and the Tourism Department of the city of Tashkent. This was reported by the khokimiyat of Tashkent.

Deputy Khokim of Tashkent Azizkhon Shovkatov, together with representatives of relevant organizations, studied the prospects for the implementation of the project and the potential presence of Barceló Hotel Group in the capital of Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the concept of the future project, investment opportunities, and further stages of cooperation.

Special attention was paid to the possibility of locating the first Barceló Hotel Group property in Central Asia in Tashkent.

Barceló Hotel Group is one of Spain's leading hotel chains. The company is represented in more than 30 countries and manages hundreds of hotels worldwide.

Following the meeting, the parties continued discussing the parameters of the potential project and areas for further cooperation.

The implementation of the project, as noted, could expand the range of hotel services in Tashkent, contribute to the development of the city's international tourism potential, and attract new investments to the tourism industry.
