The President began his visit to Kashkadarya from a textile cluster
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Kashkadarya region and got acquainted with the activities of the "Sulton Tex Group" textile cluster factory in the "Kashkadarya" free economic zone.
Within the framework of the decision adopted on March 13 this year on the socio-economic development of the region, a fabric production and dyeing factory was established by the cluster. Thanks to the project valued at 54 million dollars, production lines with a capacity of producing and dyeing 20 thousand tons of fabric per year were launched. 840 jobs were created at the factory.
Special attention at the enterprise is paid to reducing water and energy consumption. A closed-loop water recycling system worth 3 million dollars purifies and allows the reuse of over 95 percent of the water used in production. As a result, 1.1 million cubic meters of water will be saved annually.
A gas generator has been installed to ensure an uninterrupted supply of electricity to the factory. Solar panels with a total capacity of 3.5 megawatts have been placed on the roof and walls of the building. These solutions serve to reduce the costs of electricity, hot water, and steam supply, thereby lowering the cost of products.
In the future, the "Sulton Tex Group" cluster plans to implement a 70 million dollar project in this free economic zone, creating 3,570 jobs. Projects worth a total of 17 million dollars in other districts of the region are expected to provide employment for another 1,220 people.
The Head of State toured the production process at the factory and the product exhibition. He emphasized that the resource-saving technologies implemented here should serve as a model for other textile enterprises.
Dilorom Kholiyorova, who works at the enterprise, expressed her satisfaction with her job and the created conditions in a conversation with our President, offering her gratitude for the support provided.
"If a person works, the result will certainly be different. With this new generation of our entrepreneurs, we are now reaching a completely different level; they are not only creating a value-added chain, but also demonstrating their care for the environment through 'green' technologies," the President said.
