At the beginning of the meeting, Marco Rubio conveyed warm greetings and best wishes to the head of state from US President Donald Trump.

Main focus was placed on further strengthening the Uzbek-American strategic partnership and the consistent implementation of agreements reached at the highest level.

High appreciation was expressed for the work of the regular "C5+1" ministerial meeting, which confirmed mutual interest in strengthening dialogue and expanding multifaceted cooperation between the United States and Central Asian countries.

An intensification of bilateral engagement in key areas—politics and security, trade and investment, innovation and technology, education and culture—was noted with satisfaction.

A direct and constructive dialogue has been established between the parliaments and agencies of the two countries, and contacts between business circles and the academic community are expanding.

Cooperation in the security sphere is strengthening, primarily in the fight against terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking, and illegal migration.

An important step in the development of bilateral relations was the launch of the Enhanced Strategic Partnership Dialogue between Uzbekistan and the US. Following its first meeting, a number of documents were signed, including the Artemis Accords on the peaceful exploration of outer space.

Economic cooperation remains one of the key pillars of the strategic partnership. Since the beginning of the year, trade turnover has increased by 35 percent. The Economic Cooperation Program is being successfully implemented, under which major projects are underway in civil aviation, the automotive industry, mining, energy, agriculture, digitalization, and the financial sector.
