The Navoi mayor's office apologized for using AI in a photo report on the improvement of the mahalla.

When preparing and publishing materials about the improvement of the Khayot mahalla, responsible employees were careless, using artificial intelligence elements in the design. The Khokimiyat apologized for this error.

The Navoi city administration apologized for the use of artificial intelligence in a photo report on the improvement of the Hayot mahalla.

In an official statement, the administration acknowledged that responsible employees had been inattentive when preparing materials for social media. To more effectively and efficiently showcase the transformation of the mahalla, AI elements were used in the design process, and these materials were published without proper verification.

The administration expressed regret over the incident and the justified public comments, stating that warnings had been issued to the employees responsible for preparing the materials.

It was also emphasized that a series of practical measures had indeed been taken in the Hayot mahalla to improve living conditions for residents. To confirm the reality of the results achieved, and not artificiality, actual (unprocessed) photos and videos from the scene were attached to the official statement.

A photo report on the work in the "Hayot" mahalla was published by the khokimiyat on August 2. Social media users noticed suspicious details in the images, suggesting they had been altered using AI. Specifically, dilapidated walls, crumbling plaster, and abandoned areas appeared almost perfectly renovated in the photographs. Image verification using a specialized service confirmed signs of manipulation.
