The list of all teams participating in the UEFA Champions League has been announced (photo)

The full list of teams participating in the UEFA Champions League group stage has been formed.

The final second leg matches of the qualifying round were completed on August 26. As a result of these matches, the Greek club AEK defeated the Bulgarian team Levski with a score of two games (0:0, 4:0). The Norwegian club Viking eliminated the Croatian team Dinamo (2:2, 3:1). The Turkish club Fenerbahce defeated the French team Lyon (1:1, 2:1). The Slovak club Slovan defeated the Slovenian team Celje in extra time (1:1, 2:1).

In addition to the above-mentioned teams, England's Arsenal, Aston Villa, Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool, France's PSG, Lens and Lille, Italy's Inter, Napoli, Roma and Como, Spain's Barcelona, Real Madrid, Villarreal, Atletico Madrid and Betis, Germany's Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Leipzig and Stuttgart, Netherlands' PSV and Feyenoord, Portugal's Porto and Sporting, as well as Ukraine's Shakhtar Donetsk, Belgium's Club Brugge, Czech Republic's Slavia, Turkey's Galatasaray, Austria's LASK, Azerbaijan's Sabah and Norway's Budyo-Glimt also qualified for the main round.

A total of 36 clubs will participate in the general stage of the Champions League. In the first round, each team will play 8 matches (4 home and 4 away). The clubs will be placed in a single tournament table. The top eight teams will advance directly to the round of 16, while the teams ranked 9th to 24th will compete in a play-off for the remaining play-off places.

The draw for the general phase will be held in Monaco on 27 August.
