Institute of Nuclear Physics of Uzbekistan marked its 70th anniversary with an international conference
The Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan celebrated its 70th anniversary. Timed to this date was the XII International Conference "Nuclear Science and Its Applications," which brought together more than 100 scientists and specialists from 10 foreign countries.
Representatives of scientific organizations, universities, and enterprises from Uzbekistan and other states participated in the conference. They discussed the achievements and prospects of nuclear physics, nuclear power, nuclear medicine, and other areas of nuclear technology applications.
Over seven decades, the institute has evolved into one of the largest research centers in Uzbekistan and Central Asia. Its activities have encompassed fundamental and applied research, radiochemistry, radiation physics, materials science, and other scientific fields.
The conference also served as a platform for sharing research results and strengthening international scientific cooperation.
