The head of Uzbekistan sincerely congratulated the leader of Russia on the successful holding of the elections to the State Duma, and also wished the new composition of the parliament fruitful work.
During the conversation, issues of further deepening the Uzbek-Russian relations of strategic partnership and alliance were reviewed in the context of implementing the agreements reached at the highest level.
The importance of productively holding the regular meetings of the Intergovernmental Commission and the Council of Regions, as well as the days of culture of Uzbekistan in Russia, was noted.
The parties also reviewed the schedule of upcoming bilateral and multilateral events.
