The head of the Association of Mahallas of Uzbekistan has changed

Gafurjon Mirzaev has been appointed Deputy Prime Minister — Chairman of the Association of Mahallas of Uzbekistan. Prior to this, he served as the President's Advisor on Personnel Issues. Since its inception, the Association of Mahallas had been headed by Kakhramon Kuranbaev.

The head of the Association of Mahallas of Uzbekistan has changed

Mirzaev has been appointed to the position of Deputy Prime Minister — Chairman of the Association of Mahallas of Uzbekistan. The corresponding decree was signed by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Previously, he held the post of Presidential Advisor on Personnel Issues. The candidacy of Gafurjon Mirzaev was approved by the deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, reported the presidential press secretary Sherzod Asadov.

Since January 2024, the Association of Mahallas had been headed by Kakhramon Kuranbaev. The reason for his resignation and whether he has been appointed to another position have not been specified.
