**First Lady of Uzbekistan visited historical monuments in Belgrade**

As part of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Republic of Serbia, the First Lady of our country, Ziroat Mirziyoyeva, accompanied by the First Lady of Serbia, Tamara Vučić, visited a number of cultural sites in the city of Belgrade.

The first destination on the program was the National Museum of Serbia. Ziroat Mirziyoyeva and Tamara Vučić familiarized themselves with the museum's exposition, viewing archaeological finds related to the country's history, as well as examples of Serbian and world art.

The First Ladies also viewed the "Etno Mreža" traditional crafts exhibition organized at the museum. It showcases examples of Serbia's national craft traditions and cultural heritage.

During the visit, special attention was paid to one of the most important masterpieces of Serbia's national heritage — the "Miroslav Gospel". This unique 12th-century manuscript is considered one of the oldest examples of Serbian Cyrillic writing.

The manuscript, which holds high artistic value, is also significant for its masterfully decorated miniatures. In 2005, the "Miroslav Gospel" was inscribed into UNESCO's "Memory of the World" international register.

Following this, Ziroat Mirziyoyeva and Tamara Vučić visited the Church of Saint Sava, which is one of the largest Orthodox churches in the world and an important spiritual symbol of Serbia.

During the warm conversation held as part of the visit, Ziroat Mirziyoyeva and Tamara Vučić emphasized the importance of further developing cultural and humanitarian ties between Uzbekistan and Serbia, and strengthening friendship and mutual understanding between the peoples.
