For the first time since Uzbekistan's independence, an aerological balloon was successfully launched as a test in the Bukhara region. This project will expand the possibilities for studying the upper layers of the atmosphere, increasing the accuracy of weather forecasts, and detecting dangerous hydrometeorological phenomena earlier.

On the eve of the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence, an aerological balloon was launched into the air for the first time in the country's history as a test flight in the Bukhara region. This event is considered an important step towards the development of the field of hydrometeorology and the study of the upper layers of the atmosphere.
A modern weather probe mounted on this aerological balloon measures important meteorological data such as air temperature, relative humidity, atmospheric pressure, wind speed and direction at different altitudes in real time during the flight and transmits them to a receiving station located on the ground.
According to experts, this aerological data is of great importance in improving synoptic analysis, increasing the accuracy of weather forecasts, early detection of dangerous hydrometeorological phenomena, and providing aviation, agriculture, and other sectors with reliable hydrometeorological information.
It is noted that the establishment of aerological observations will serve to widely introduce modern technologies into the country's hydrometeorological service and further increase the scientific and practical potential of the industry.
