The evacuation route for the residents of Oleshky has become known
It is planned to transfer residents of the Russian-occupied city of Oleshky who wish to cross into Ukraine-controlled territory through Anapa and the Belarusian city of Gomel. According to preliminary data, the evacuation is expected to begin on the morning of October 30.

It has become known through which route the residents of Oleshky will be evacuated. According to DW, this route was specified in the ceasefire agreement.
Under the agreement, those who wish to go to Ukrainian-controlled territory after evacuation will first be taken to the Russian city of Anapa. They will then be delivered to Gomel on a Russian Ministry of Defense aircraft and transferred to Ukraine from there.
Who will accompany those being evacuated?
Residents will be accompanied by the Ukrainian Human Rights Commissioner Dmytro Lubinets, two representatives from his office, and two Ukrainian journalists.
Together with them, representatives of the Russian Ombudsman Yana Lantratova and members of the humanitarian mission coordination team will also travel to Belarus.
On the morning of October 28, the Ukrainian and Russian ombudspersons reported that no violations had been recorded during the 30 hours since the truce began.
Lubinets stated that the parties are in constant contact and are coordinating the implementation of the agreements. He also expressed gratitude to US First Lady Melania Trump for her participation in the humanitarian mission.
The truce is scheduled to last until November 1
The ceasefire regime around Oleshky began on October 27 at 03:00 Kyiv time. It is scheduled to remain in effect until 22:59 on November 1.
During this time, it is planned to deliver humanitarian aid to the city, which suffers from a severe shortage of food and medicine, and to evacuate the population.
Myroslava Kharchenko, chief lawyer of the Save Ukraine organization, told DW in an interview that time might be needed to demine the roads leading to the city before removing the people.
Russia and Ukraine agreed to deliver regular humanitarian aid to Oleshky, and after the end of the truce, to evacuate people from other settlements in the Kherson region as well. Such events are intended to be conducted at least once a month with the support of Melania Trump.
