The Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration and the Presidential Press Secretary of Uzbekistan were awarded the Order of Friendship.
In Uzbekistan, on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of state independence, a group of civil servants, as well as workers in the production, social, and economic sectors, were awarded state awards.
In accordance with a decree of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Order of Friendship was awarded to Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Tamila Aliyeva and Head of the Communications Department of the Presidential Administration and Presidential Press Secretary Sherzod Asadov.
The awards were given for their contribution to the implementation of large-scale reforms, the country's economic development, improving the standard of living, strengthening Uzbekistan's international prestige, and for their active professional and public service.
The decree also highlights the awardees' contributions to the introduction of innovative technologies, the creation of modern production facilities, infrastructure development, ensuring social stability, and educating the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism and respect for national and universal values.
The awardees include representatives of industry, mining and metallurgy, construction, agriculture, transport, aviation, public administration, education, social services, and entrepreneurship.
The decree provides for the awarding of the Orders of El-Yurt Khurmati (Recognized as a Person of Honor), Fidokorona Khizmatlari Uchun (Recognized as a Person of Honor), Mekhnat Shukhrat (Recognized as a Person of Honor), Dustlik (Recognized as a Person of Honor), Mardlik (Recognized as a Person of Honor), and Shon-Sharaf (Recognized as a Person of Honor), as well as the medals of Sodiq Khizmatlari Uchun (Recognized as a Person of Honor), Kelajak Bunyodkori (Recognized as a Person of Honor), Zhasorat (Recognized as a Person of Honor), and Shukhrat (Recognized as a Person of Honor).
The decree was signed on August 22, 2026.
