The death toll in Uzbek drone attacks has risen: a task force has been dispatched to Tatarstan.

The number of Uzbek citizens killed in the drone attack has increased, and a task force has been dispatched to Tatarstan.

At the direction of the President of Uzbekistan, a special commission has been dispatched to Tatarstan to organize the repatriation of the victims. According to preliminary reports, the victims include eight Uzbek citizens who were working as construction workers at a city enterprise. Several other citizens of the republic suffered injuries of varying severity and were hospitalized.

Following President Shavkat Mirziyoyev's instructions, the government has formed a special commission under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister Achilbay Ramatov. Its main goal is to provide necessary assistance to the victims, support the families of the deceased, and organize the return of bodies to their homeland via a special flight.

A special commission has also been established to work directly in Russia. It includes representatives from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Health, the Migration Agency, and other relevant agencies.

Staff from the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Kazan and representatives of the Migration Agency also arrived at the scene. They are in constant contact with their Russian counterparts and are participating in the necessary operational activities.

A massive Ukrainian drone attack on the city of Nizhnekamsk in the Republic of Tatarstan occurred on the morning of August 10. Seven Uzbek citizens were previously reported dead. The total number of casualties stands at 13, including a five-year-old child. Another 75 people have sought medical assistance. A day of mourning has been declared in the region.
