Date and rules for state grant exams for private and foreign universities announced

The Ministry of Education and Science has announced the issuance of permits for the upcoming exams for the distribution of 1,452 state grants for foreign and non-state higher education institutions and their branches, as well as 200 targeted quotas for youth from Karakalpakstan.

According to the established procedure, the test trials will take place on Wednesday, October 28, 2026.

Selection participants can download their permit through their personal account on the my.uzbmb.uz platform. The document specifies the date, address, and exact time of the testing, and applicants are required to arrive at the venue without delay. Applications for participation in the competition for state grants for students of non-state and foreign universities were accepted from October 10 to October 17.

The agency reminded that entry to the buildings where the exams are held is permitted only upon presentation of an identity document, namely a passport or ID card. In addition, participants are prohibited from bringing extraneous items into the testing area, including electronic devices, bags, books, and writing utensils.
