Veolia Energy Tashkent, the company responsible for the capital's heat supply, has issued an official statement regarding the collapse that occurred on Glinka Street in the Yakkasaroy district of Tashkent. According to the company, an emergency recovery crew and specialists immediately arrived at the scene.

Currently, the causes of the collapse and all the details of the incident are being investigated.

Veolia Energy Tashkent stated that no hot water leaks have been recorded so far.

Additional information regarding the causes of the incident and the measures being taken will be provided upon completion of the rapid investigation.

As a reminder, after videos and photos depicting the above situation circulated, social media users speculated that the incident was caused by the explosion of a high-pressure water pipe.
