The Business Ombudsman launched a project for entrepreneurs.
Entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan will be able to submit questions to the Business Ombudsman's experts, and their responses will be published on official channels.

The Business Ombudsman has launched a new project for entrepreneurs.
A project called "I have a question for the Business Ombudsman" has been launched in Uzbekistan. This project will allow entrepreneurs to submit their business-related questions to qualified specialists. Experts' responses are planned to be published on the Business Ombudsman's official channels.
Questions can be submitted by email to [email protected]. The goal of this initiative is to provide entrepreneurs with clarification on issues related to their activities.
The Business Ombudsman Institute was established in 2017 as part of reforms implemented in Uzbekistan aimed at strengthening legal protection for entrepreneurs, reducing administrative barriers, and ensuring the protection of property rights.
The corresponding Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. UP-5037 was signed on May 5, 2017.
The Business Ombudsman is an official appointed and dismissed by the President of Uzbekistan.
Its main objective is to ensure guarantees for the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of business entities, as well as to monitor compliance with these rights by government, law enforcement, and regulatory agencies.
The institute's responsibilities include reviewing petitions from entrepreneurs, monitoring the actions of government agencies, participating in court proceedings, reviewing draft regulations, and preparing proposals for legislative improvements.
The Business Ombudsman also participates in the development and implementation of state policy on protecting the rights of entrepreneurs, provides legal support during business inspections, and assesses the impact of regulations on entrepreneurial activity.
The institute's organizational structure expanded in stages. In 2017, the system employed eight employees. By 2019, this number had increased to 101, after which a system of regional representative offices was introduced. This allowed for increased efforts to identify and address entrepreneurs' concerns directly in the regions.
The new project provides entrepreneurs with an additional channel for obtaining clarification on their activities.
Questions are accepted at the specified email address, and answers prepared by specialists will be posted on the official information resources of the Business Ombudsman.
